ProFootball101′s top three choices to get you ready for this week’s suicide pool.

1. Atlanta Falcons - The Falcons head home to face the Cardinals after a disappointing OT loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers. The outcome Sunday will be very different. Expect RB Michael Turner to run wild on 25-30 carries and for QB Matt Ryan and the passing game to find its rhythm and put points on the board.

The Cardinals struggled mightily in their 17-13 win over the Rams in Week 1 and we expect the Falcons to win going away on Sunday.

2. Philadelphia Eagles - Michael Vick gets the start at QB in place of injured Kevin Kolb against the Lions. Regardless of what the Eagles do on offense, and we think it will be a lot, the defense is going to shut down the Shaun Hill led Lions offense. DC Sean McDermott will keep RB Jahvid Best under wraps and his secondary will key on WR Calvin Johnson.

Their aggressive front four and blitz package will be too much for Detroit and the Eagles will romp by 17 on Sunday.

3. Oakland Raiders - Every now and then it’s good to use a weak team to get you to the next week of your suicide pool. This week’s choice is the Raiders. They’re coming off an embarrassing loss and face QB Sam Bradford and the Rams at home. Expect Bradford to be awful in his 1st career road game and for Oakland’s D to force multiple turnovers.

Offensively, the Raiders won’t have to do much, but they’ll do enough to win by at least 10.

Teams that are no sure thing

New Orleans Saints – The NFL is a strange league. We expect a big effort from San Francisco in their home opener on Monday Night.

Tennessee Titans - The Steelers D will be stout. The question is whether their offense can do enough to secure the victory. We think it can.

Minnesota Vikings - The Vikings have real problems in the passing game and the Dolphins are a tough, well coached team.
