Week 1 of the NFL suicide pool is always crazy; upsets are bound to happen (see Buccaneers and Steelers) and there were plenty of close games too (eg Patriots, Colts, Texans).

Things will being to normalize this week and these are our top three picks for Week 2 of the NFL suicide pool.

Top Pick

1. Green Bay Packers vs. Was – The Packers gave it a good effort vs. the 49ers, but ultimately came up short. That won’t happen again this week. Look for Rodgers to pick apart the Redskins secondary and the offense to put up 28+ points on the board. The Packers D will force RGIII into some mistakes en route to the win.

Next

2. Houston Texans vs. Ten – The Titans are feeling good after their week 1 upset over the Steelers, but they’ll be .500 after this week. The Texans will settle down after a so-so performance at San Diego and will win fairly easily.

3. Baltimore Ravens vs. Cle – The Ravens AND Browns are both banged up offensively, but this match-up favors the Ravens who will be playing at home and on 10 days rest. They won’t cover the point spread (-7), but will pull out the W in what should be a low scoring affair.
