Having a weak running back group (Charles, Addai, B Jackson, Maroney) and solid receivers (A Johnson, R Moss, Collie) should I trade Charles and my TE Dallas Clark for MJ Drew and Zach Miller?
This is not a bad trade although I’d probably stick with Charles a bit longer. Clark is better than Miller, and I don’t think MJD will have the type of year he had last year after watching the Jags the past few games. The (passing) offense looks horrendous, which means teams will key on the running game. I think Charles role will expand as we get deeper in the year and he’s a home run threat every time he touches the ball. In short, it’s a fairly even trade, but I think the guys you have will end up proving their worth over time.
Even with the tougher matchup we’d still go with Flacco. Hasselback has been horrendous on the road the past two seasons and Baltimore will be throwing. Mendenhall is a must start although he faces a very good Ravens D and while Wallace could score on Sunday, it might make sense to look at other options .We’re not sure Charlie Batch will have the time in the pocket to go deep facing the Ravens pass rush.
Im sitting best at flex this week so i need to pick 3 wr. this is who i have (D. Jackson, Collie, Nicks, and Welker) who should i sit out of this group? I tend to lean toward sitting Nicks.
That’s a good problem to have. You’ve got 4 solid receivers. We think Nicks will have a good game against Chicago (weak pass defense) but if you go with the other three you’re looking good. Keep an eye on whether Pierre Garcon is back though. If he is, that will cut into Collie’s production.
We’d start Carlson. He has the better matchup and Hasselback has been looking his way a lot. Olsen’s got two TDs the past two weeks but only had 1 catch vs. Dallas. Last week was better, but it’s tough to tell how he’ll do because he’s so inconsistent.
Schaub has an easy match-up vs. a D that gives up a lot of points. The only concern there is the Texans will run the ball down the Titans throats. We would go with Rivers because the Chiefs have been vulnerable to the pass, and San Diego won’t run the ball as much.
For receiver, go with Crabtree. The Jets will be demoralized after the loss of Revis and Cromartie / Wilson will be easy to throw against.
Both have good match-ups, but we’d go with the Bengals. They haven’t been too good this year but Jacksonville is an easy match-up. The Broncos is tricky because their former defensive coordinator is the HC for the Raiders and he may have a few tricks up his sleeve against the defense he coached a year ago.

Go with Rivers, only because he’ll be throwing more than Schaub will need to. Crabtree is also the play here since Revis is done. The Cardinals D is playing very well and it’s unlikely Tannehill will be able to get much going against Arizona.

It’s still early, but the Jets are the top D/ST in Week 4, with other solid options being GB, Cincy and San Diego (Cards are horrible on the road)

Should I roll with Flacco or Hasselbeck for week 4?
How do you think Mendenhall and Wallace from PIT will do in week 4?
