1. Antonio Gates vs. Miami Dolphins

The Dolphins just surrendered 183 yards and a TD to Dallas Clark on Monday Night and Rivers located Gates on quite a few occasions vs. the Ravens. They lined him up in both the slot as well as on the outside and were able to take advantage of the mismatches vs. smaller DBs. Look for more of that on Sunday and for Gates to score at least one TD, maybe two. This week’s top ranked fantasy football TE.

2. Jason Witten vs. Carolina Panthers

Witten was held to just 33 yards and a TD on Sunday but that was a byproduct of the Tony Romo’s horrendous evening in the Cowboys home opener. This week they get the Panthers, a team which has been hurt by opposing TEs in each of the first two weeks (Celek, Gonzalez), so look for Witten to bounce back with at least 75 yards and one TD.

3. Dallas Clark vs. Arizona Cardinals

Clark was Peyton Manning’s No. one target vs. the Dolphins on Monday and had a monster night with 183 receiving yards and one long TD. He’ll have another opportunity to shine this week because Arizona lacks anyone who can cover him straight up. Look for another 75 plus yard effort with a TD.

4. Brent Celek vs. Kansas City Chiefs

Celek’s emergence from a fantasy sleeper to a legitimate starter has happened quickly this year as he’s turned in two solid performances to begin the season. Against the Saints, he was Kevin Kolb’s primary target and finished with eight catches for 104 receiving yards; we expect similar against the Chiefs with at least one TD.

Sleepers

Jermichael Finley vs. St. Louis Rams

Finley was targeted seven times in Sunday’s loss to the Bengals and finished with four catches for 56 yards. The athletic second year TE had a huge training camp/preseason and it appears like Rodgers and the Packers are looking to incorporate him more into the offense. He could breakout on Sunday.

Dustin Keller vs. Tennessee Titans

Both Heath Miller and Owen Daniels have torched the Titans in consecutive weeks and Keller’s got speed that the others lack. Look for Sanchez to target his TE quite a bit in this one.

Others We Like

Kellen Winslow vs. New York Giants

Winslow will have an opportunity to pick up yards and possibly late game TD in what should be a blowout by the Giants. But in fantasy, the final score never matters; only the yards and TDs.

Greg Olsen vs. Seattle Seahawks

The Bears began to find their passing rhythm last Sunday and look for that to continue when they head to Seattle. The Seahawks have numerous injuries on the defensive side of the ball and Olsen matches up well with Seattle’s secondary.

Tony Gonzalez vs. New England Patriots

Bill Belichick is very good at limiting the opposing team’s best receiving threat but Gonzalez is virtually impossible to cover. He’s so adept at finding holes in a defense and Ryan has already shown an ability to deliver him the ball. Look for another solid outing on Sunday.
