At 13.5 point favorites the New England Patriots managed to pull off the unthinkable with a 20-18 loss to the Arizona Cardinals at home. 1. Dallas Cowboys vs. TB – The Cowboys are coming off a shellacking in the great Northwest at the hands of the Seahawks but now get the Bucs in their home opener. Look for a completely different effort and for Tony Romo and Co. to win going away 31-14.

2. Atlanta Falcons vs. SD – The Chargers are off to a 2-0 start after beating two winless teams. While they’re getting healthy (RB Mathews is back as should be TE Gates), the Falcons are off to a hot start and have the firepower to down San Diego in their home stadium. Matt Ryan will lead the Falcons to the win out west.
3. New Orleans Saints vs. KC – The Saints are in big trouble this year, but at least they’ll feel good about themselves for one week. The Chiefs are in even worse condition and face a desperate team down in the Big Easy.
