Must Start

1. Kansas City Chiefs vs. Buf - The young Chiefs D has a lot of talent and will be active on Sunday.

2. New York Jets vs. Dal – The Jets D will come out firing and attacking Tony Romo and Co. Expect a few turnovers.

3. Cleveland Browns vs. Cin – The Bengals will be starting a rookie QB and have many new faces on offense. The Browns are a great fantasy football start on Sunday.

4. San Diego Chargers vs. Min – The Chargers D will get McNabb after only a few weeks in the Vikings system. A large lead should force McNabb into multiple turnovers.

Next

Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Bal – This is always a hotly contested affair. Look for a low scoring game with a few turnovers.

Baltimore Ravens vs. Pit – See above. Big Ben is liable to a few poor decisions per game.

New York Giants vs. Was – The Skins don’t even know who their QB will be yet. But their options are depressing. The Giants will force multiple turnovers week 1. NY dropped down after news that starting MLB Jonathan Goff was lost for the season on Monday with a torn ACL.

The Rest

Atlanta Falcons vs. Chi – The Falcons retooled their D and will be coming after Jay Cutler.

Philadelphia Eagles vs. Stl – The Eagles D should enjoy playing with a lead which will force Bradford into ill suited passes.

Arizona Cardinals vs. Car – It’s Cam Newton, his first start, and there will be turnovers. This is a solid fantasy football play to open the season.

Houston Texans vs. Ind – If Kerry Collins gets the call, which is looking very likely, the Texans become a viable fantasy option.

New England Patriots vs. Mia – Chad Henne’s a turnover machine waiting to happen.

Oakland Raiders vs. Den – The Raiders front seven will be flying around on opening day.

Detroit Lions vs. TB – The Lions look ready to inflict pain on opposing defenses. Expect DT Suh and Co. to force a few turnovers.

Green Bay Packers vs. NO – While the Saints will move the ball and score points, the Packers can force Brees into ill advised throws and a pick six is possible.

San Francisco 49ers vs. Sea – While we’re not sure exactly what we’ll get from the new 49ers D, it’s the Seahawks and Tavaris Jackson. That’s worth something.

Fantasy Sleeper

Seattle Seahawks- The 49ers have looked awful all pre-season and it’s unlikely that they’ll turn the switch on in Week 1. Look for the Seahawks to force a few turnovers against QB Alex Smith and keep the score low when they head to San Francisco. Seattle’s a solid fantasy sleeper this week.
