Green Bay Packers  (-3.5) vs. Chicago Bears – It’s a classic NFC North matchup for the right to go to the Super Bowl. The teams split the regular season series with the Packers winning 10-3 in the season finale at Lambeau.

The bad news for the Bears is the Packers come in red hot. QB Aaron Rodgers is playing out of this world and the offense is balanced after the emergence of RB James Starks. The defense is also peaking at the right time and will be a menace to Jay Cutler and Co. all afternoon.

Divisional rivalries are usually close, and this one will be no different, but the smart money is on the Packers. Look for them to pull out the 17-10 win en route to a Super Bowl appearance.

New York Jets (+3.5) vs. Pittsburgh Steelers – This is the tougher game to handicap of the two, but we expect the Jets to keep the final score within a FG. It will be a defensive battle in which both units match up well against the other.

When the Jets beat the Steelers in December, Pittsburgh was without S Troy Polamalu, their star Safety. Well, he’s back for this one and that means the running game and center of the field will be neutralized for the Jets. The one area they can have success is on the outside against the Steelers CBs.

On the flip side, the Steelers will have trouble moving the ball, but QB Ben Roethlisberger will be the difference in this one. His mobility in the pocket will keep plays alive and he’ll make one play late which puts the Steelers in position to make the GW FG.

Look for a Steelers win by 3.
