ProFootball101′s top three choices to get you ready for this week’s suicide pool.

1. Baltimore Ravens – The Ravens take on the Browns in their home opener after a tough loss to the Bengals in Week 2. And there’s a good chance that they’ll face QB Seneca Wallace. If so, this could get very ugly. Look for Joe Flacco and Co. to put up 28 points on the Browns D, and for Baltimore to keep the Browns points to a minimum. Expect a 34-14 win.

2. New England Patriots - The Patriots are also the biggest favorite on the board this week (-14 point spread). New England has owned the Buffalo Bills at home during Tom Brady’s tenure and that’s where this game will be played. The Bills in general are in disarray (switched from QB Trent Edwards to Ryan Fitzpatrick) and going the wrong way fast. Look for Brady and Co. to march up and down the field and for the final outcome to be in the 31-13 range.

3. Washington Redskins – The Rams are certainly playing more competitively, having taken to head coach Steve Spagnuolo’s philosophy, but it’s going to be some time before they pull out a victory. QB Sam Bradford is still green and will be challenged by Washington’s aggressive scheme. Look for the opportunistic Redskins Secondary to take advantage of one or two miscues, and for Donovan McNabb to lead the Skins to a 27-17 win.

Teams that are no sure thing

Minnesota Vikings – The Lions are playing competitive football and the Vikings are dangerously close to seeing their season slip away.

Philadelphia Eagles – The Jaguars are a much better home team and the Eagles barely held off the Lions.

New Orleans Saints – The Saints have won both their games albeit in less than impressive fashion. The Falcons on the other hand appear poised to dethrone New Orleans  in the NFC South.
