For Week 15 and the second round of your fantasy playoffs, here’s this week’s edition of the fantasy booms and busts.

Booms:

1. QB Kurt Warner vs. Minnesota Vikings. The Vikings head out West to keep their NFC North Division title hopes alive. Unfortunately for its defense, they’ll be met by an air attack that will light up its secondary. If commissioner Goodell’s correct and the suspension to the Williams’ is upheld, Warner and this offense is going to eat Minnesota alive. And even if the Williams’ play, the result will be the same.

2. RB Clinton Portis vs. Cincinnati Bengals. Portis vented a lot of anger towards head coach Jim Zorn this week on a radio show, and we fully expect him to release some of that anger when he steps on the field this Sunday vs. the Bengals. Coming off two sub-par performances against the Giants and Ravens—no pushovers there—he gets the demoralized Bengals and should have a field day on the ground and on passes out of the backfield.

3. WR Steve Smith vs. Denver Broncos. Smith has produced four 100-yard games out of his last six and after Sunday, that number will rise to five out of seven. The Broncos watched closely as Tampa Bay was run all over and know they’ll have to bring added guys into the box to stop the two-headed monster (Stewart, Williams) out of the backfield. This will leave Smith in one-on-one situations which he’ll exploit to the fullest.

Busts:

1. QB Jay Cutler vs. Carolina Panthers. The Panthers possess one of the top pass defenses in the game and their pass rush out of the front is beginning to pick up. In an important game for Carolina, whose home field hopes remain alive, look for Peppers and Co. to make life miserable for Culter and for the QB to be a fantasy bust on Sunday.

2. RB Willie Parker vs. Baltimore Ravens. You could also add Ravens’ RB Willis McGahee to this list. The Ravens have the best rush defense in the NFL and will make Pittsburgh beat them through the air. Parker is still running tentatively since coming back from that injury so make sure he’s not in your lineup in Week 15.

3. WR Randy Moss vs. Oakland Raiders. Ok, the Raiders want no part of this football game, but a few of their DBs have pride and will show up in this game. Moss might be looking to stick it to his former team but CB Nnamdi Asomugha and the rest of the secondary have pride on the line and will make New England beat them by running the football.
