Must starts:

1. Terrell Owens vs. Cincinnati. The whiner prevails in week 5. All week he’s been complaining about not getting the ball thrown his way and in comes an early Christmas present, the Bengals’ secondary. TO should go off in this one. The Bengals have no one who can get to QB Tony Romo and no one who can cover TO. That combination should lead to some fireworks through the air.

2. Reggie Wayne vs. Houston. Wayne emerged last year as Peyton’s top target after Harrison went down with a knee injury and didn’t disappoint. He put up over 100 catches and 1500 yards. In this high scoring affair, we see the Colts’ offense returning to its 2007 form, and Wayne being on the receiving end of a lot of passes. Look for 100 and at least 1 TD. Houston’s also playing without top corner Dunta Robinson.

3. Calvin Johnson vs. Chicago. While the Bears’ D is formidable vs. the run, they’re suspect against the pass (see Tampa two weeks ago when Griese threw 67 times for 400 yards and a few TDs). Johnson’s emerging into a monster this season and we see him being able to use his size and speed to create some big plays in the secondary. The Lions should be down in this one as well so there will be a lot of opportunities through the air. He scores at least once.

Sleepers:

1. Lee Evans vs. Arizona. Do you think Evans has watched film of the Jets’ Coles scoring three TDs against the Cards last week? Do you think he’s not amped to go out after signing that new 4 year, $37M contract on Thursday and put up a huge game? I do. Look for Evans to use his deep speed against a suspect Arizona’ secondary and put up over a 100 yards and have a long score.

2. Andre Johnson vs. Indianapolis. Johnson’s one of the top receivers in the game but doesn’t always receive the credit he deserves because he’s stuck down in Houston and his quarterback’s play is usually inconsistent. Schaub seemed to assert himself nicely last week vs. Jacksonville and we see that trend carrying over to this weekend’s game. Look for Johnson to get in the end zone, and if the ground game is working, and Indy’s forced to bring safety help to the line, watch for him to get deep and take it to the house.
