1. Tom Brady vs. Tennessee Titans
Brady’s been just a bit off on his deep balls of late and missed two potential long TDs on Sunday. This week he gets the Titans, a team with the worst pass defense in football. They’re also down a few in the secondary. Look for Brady to get back on track with a 300 yard game and two to three TDs on Sunday. He’s our top ranked fantasy football QB in Week Six.
2. Aaron Rodgers vs. Detroit Lions
Rodgers had a huge game vs. the Vikings two weeks ago and now the Lions come to town. Detroit has given up three TDs to Jay Cutler and Ben Roethlisberger in consecutive weeks. Expect 300 yards with at least two TDs for Rodgers on Sunday.
3. Phillip Rivers vs. Denver Broncos
The 5-0 Broncos, and their defense in particular, are making believers out of a lot of people after their impressive win over the Patriots on Sunday. However, for as good as they were against Brady and Co., San Diego can pass on anyone, and will do so again on Monday Night. Look for Rivers to locate his skill players (Jackson, Gates, Sproles, etc.) and throw for at least 250 yards and two scores.
4. Ben Roethlisberger vs. Cleveland Browns
Roethlisberger has been outstanding the past few weeks and now faces the lowly Browns. Cleveland managed to gets its first win on Sunday in one of the ugliest games ever played. Expect Big Ben to go up top in this one and locate Ward, Holmes and Wallace for at least 250 and a few scores.
Sleepers
1. David Garrard vs. St. Louis Rams
Garrard had a horrible day in Seattle playing without his top receiver, Mike Sims-Walker. It wouldn’t have made much difference to the outcome but certainly would have helped fantasy wise. He’ll have him back for this one and the Jags should feast on the lowly Rams.
2. Kyle Orton vs. San Diego Chargers
Kyle Orton’s been playing extremely well and comes into this one off a 330 yard, two TD performance against the New England Patriots. He now faces the Chargers, another team that has trouble pressuring QBs. Look for Orton to hook up with his receivers and be a nice fantasy sleeper in Week Six.
Others We Like
Eli Manning vs. New Orleans Saints
Manning is playing lights out right now and his young receivers are stepping up their games. Sunday is the first real test of the season. Look for him to pass with flying colors and connect on a few long ones in New Orleans.
Kurt Warner vs. Seattle Seahawks
The Cardinals have pretty much abandoned their running game and will keep things in the air going forward. Fitzgerald got back on track in Week Five and Boldin was once again solid, so expect Warner to put up another 250 with a few scores on Sunday.
Donovan McNabb vs. Oakland Raiders
This might be another game where the mercy rule should be imposed at the half. Look for McNabb to toss at least two or three TDs against the lowly Raiders before they turn to the running game.
