Fantasy Booms
1. QB Tom Brady vs. Tennessee Titans
The Titans have the worst pass defense in the league and are down a few starters in the secondary for this one. Tom Brady will have a huge day passing on Sunday and should easily eclipse the 300 yard mark with three TDs.
2. RB Maurice Jones-Drew vs. St. Louis Rams
Jones-Drew was extremely vocal about the play calling following last week’s 41-0 loss to the Seahawks. Look for Jacksonville to feed the ball to their star RB about 25 times on Sunday and for MJD to top the 100 yard mark with two TDs. This is an extremely easy match-up facing the Rams.
3. WR Greg Jennings vs. Detroit Lions
The Lions were torched through the air by the Steelers last Sunday and now face a well rested Green Bay team. Expect Rodgers to go up top on more than a few occasions and locate his favorite target for over 100 yards and a score.
Fantasy Busts
1. QB Drew Brees vs. New York Giants
Drew Brees hasn’t thrown a TD pass in the past two games and now faces the top defense in football. Expect New York’s front seven to pressure Brees all afternoon and keep him at around 200 yards with one TD.
2. RB MarShawn Lynch vs. New York Jets
The Jets have no respect for the Bills passing game and will key on Lynch all afternoon. If Lynch eclipses 50 yards, it’d be surprising.
3. WR Marques Colston vs. New York Giants
Colston has his hands full on Sunday as he’ll be lining up against CB Corey Webster all afternoon. Webster usually shuts down the opposing team’s best receiver and that trend will continue on Sunday.
