Fantasy Booms

1. QB Peyton Manning

Manning has tossed for over 682 yards and six TDs in the last two weeks. This week he gets the over-matched Seattle Seahawks who were lit up by Jay Cutler for 247 yards and three TDs in Week Three. This has all the making of an aerial show in Indy and we like Peyton to surpass the 300-yard mark with at least three TDs on Sunday.

2. RB Cedric Benson

Benson’s been running strong in 2009 and now faces the worst team in the NFL. In addition to playing poorly, the Browns appear to have tuned out Eric Mangini and have no interest in competing for him on Sundays. This all adds up to a huge day for Benson with at least 100 yards and two TDs.

3. WR Randy Moss

If there’s one chink in the Ravens’ armor on defense, it’s stopping the pass. Phillip Rivers threw for over 40o yards on them two weeks ago. Expect the Patriots, who became a more balanced team offensively last Sunday, to effectively use the play action pass and for Moss to easily surpass the 100 yard mark with at least one score.

Fantasy Busts

1. QB Matt Schaub

Schaub might only end up a fantasy bust this week because the Texans have a large lead and no need to pass. But aside from that, the Raiders, with all of their issues, actually have a solid pass defense, and CB Nnamdi Asomugha is the best in the business. While he’s been lighting it up with seven TDs in the past two weeks, he’ll struggle to throw two on Sunday.

2. RB Ryan Grant

Grant faces the imposing Vikings front seven (DT Williams twins) and is also running behind a struggling offensive line. The holes will be far and few between and we expect Green Bay to abandon the running game sometime in the second quarter. This doesn’t add up to a solid fantasy day.

3. WR Marques Colston

Colston’s played very well this year but this is an unenviable match-up. CB Darrelle Revis has emerged as a top flight CB and shut down Randy Moss just two weeks ago. Expect Revis to be all over Colston on Sunday and for the result to be  a sub par afternoon for the receiver.
