1. Dallas Clark vs. New England Patriots
Clark was far and away Peyton Manning’s favorite target in Week Nine. He caught 14 passes for 119 yards on mostly underneath routes. Look for the Colts to employ a similar plan of attack vs. the Pats but for Clark to reach the end zone in this one.
2. Vernon Davis vs. Chicago Bears
There can be no denying Davis’s ascent to one of the top TEs in fantasy football – and the NFL. After four TDs in the previous two weeks, he caught 10 balls for 102 yards vs. the Titans in Week Nine. Look for another strong game Thursday as he’ll be facing a severely underachieving Bears defense.
3. Tony Gonzalez vs. Carolina Panthers
The Panthers do an excellent job of defending opposing receivers but can be hurt in the middle of the field. Expect Ryan and Gonzalez to work this area (of the field) and for No. 88 to score again this week.
4. Brent Celek vs. San Diego Chargers
Celek’s one of McNabb’s top targets and is deadly over the middle of the field and in the red zone. Look for the Eagles to create mismatches all afternoon and for Celek to score for the third consecutive week.
Sleeper
1. Zach Miller vs. Kansas City Chiefs
Miller’s been one of the lone bright spots for the Raiders offense this year and will thrive when the Chiefs come to town. He’s an excellent fantasy sleeper coming off the bye week and look for seventy receiving yards and a score.
2. Kellen Winslow vs. Miami Dolphins
Rookie Josh Freeman came out firing vs. the Packers and had Winslow in his sights for much of the afternoon (57 yards, one TD). Look for Winslow to be Freeman’s safety valve once again and catch at least one TD.
Others We Like
Antonio Gates vs. Philadelphia Eagles
Rivers has targeted Gates heavily over the past month and that trend will continue against the Eagles this weekend. Look for at least 75 yards and a TD.
Visanthe Schiancoe vs. Detroit Lions
Schiancoe’s stock has risen exponentially with the insertion of Brett Favre at QB. Through eight games, he’s caught six TDs. No. 7 will come against the Lions in Week Ten.
Greg Olsen vs. San Francisco 49ers
Olsen caught three TDs in their loss to the Cardinals in Week Nine. As Jay Cutler’s most reliable threat, he’ll have another solid performance on Thursday as the Niners safeties will be unable to keep up with him.
