1. New York Jets - They’re well rested off the bye and CB Darrelle Revis is 100%. The Packers lack of running game will expose Aaron Rodgers to pressure which will then turn into turnovers. The Jets are the top ranked fantasy football D/ST in Week 8.
2. Pittsburgh Steelers - The Saints will find themselves in unfavorable situations due to their inability to run the ball. Look for the Steelers to aggressively blitz Drew Brees into turnovers.
3. San Francisco 49ers - In normal weeks, this would be high for the Niners, but six teams are on the bye and the Broncos are downright bad. Look for Willis and Co. to limit the Broncos scoring and force Kyle Orton into turnovers.
4. New England Patriots - If Favre plays, he’s good for three turnovers alone, right? The Patriots D is making plays again and they will be active on Sunday.
Next In Line
Kansas City Chiefs - The Bills are an offense prone to mistakes and the Chiefs are a defense that capitalizes on them.
St. Louis Rams - The Rams play very well at home and the Panthers offense is still a mess, regardless of their victory of the 49ers last Sunday.
Tennessee Titans – The Chargers are injured at many key positions on offense and the Titans front four is one of the best at harassing opposing QBs and forcing turnovers.
Rounding Out the List
Dallas Cowboys - The demoralized Cowboys still have enough firepower and pride to overwhelm a mediocre Jaguars offense.
Oakland Raiders - Coming off a stellar performance in Denver, look for that to continue at home this week against the incoming Seahawks.
Washington Redskins – If the Lions turn back to Matt Stafford, expect the Skins pressure packages to create turnovers.
Fantasy Sleeper of the Week
Detroit Lions – This unit is coming off its bye and was creating turnovers prior to the week off. This will continue against a mediocre Redskins offense (on the road). They’re a good fantasy sleeper in Week 8.
