ProFootball101′s top three choices to get you ready for this week’s suicide pool.

1. San Diego Chargers - Forget about the bad loss to Seattle. The Chargers are notorious for starting slow under HC Norv Turner… especially on the road. Well, this one is at home, and San Diego will absolutely bury QB Derek Anderson and Co. when they come to the Q.

Look for Phillip Rivers and the offense to put up over 30 points and be clicking on all cylinders. The defense will benefit from the huge lead the offense affords it and force Anderson into mistakes. This will be a 34-17 type finish.

2. New York Jets - The Jets defense alone will win this. The Bills are reeling and QB Mark Sanchez is on fire the past two weeks. He won’t be required to do as much in the passing game to get his team the lead, but once they do, expect the defense to smother QB Ryan Fitzpatrick and the Bills running game and keep them to under 2 TDs.

Division rivalries are usually close, but we like New York to win by at least 10.

3. Tennessee Titans - The Titans are a good play at home against a struggling – and injured  – Broncos team. Kyle Orton’s effectiveness drops on the road and the Titans aggressive defense will be all over him this Sunday. Offensively, expect RB Chris Johnson to have a monster day and could top 150 yards with 2 TDs, which will make things very easy on Vince Young back there.

Teams that are no sure thing

Houston Texans – WR Andre Johnson’s health is an issue and strange things can happen in the Black Hole.

Seattle Seahawks - The Seahawks have traveled extremely poorly the past few years. This could be a suicide pool spoiler.

New England Patriots - The Dolphins play Tom Brady tough and matchup very well to the Patriots.
