1. Dallas Clark

While Reggie Wayne is Peyton’s big play receiver, Clark may be his favorite target… especially over the middle.  Overall, he finished with over 1100 yards, 10 TDs, and 163 fantasy points. Clark’s a mismatch for any LBer or Saftey and we expect big things once again.

2. Antonio Gates

Gates has been a perennial star and had a real strong year in 2009 finishing 3rd in fantasy with 156 points.  If Vincent Jackson holds out for an extended period of time this year, Gates will be the beneficiary, and could end up the top TE in the NFL and fantasy football.

3. Vernon Davis

Last year was Davis coming out party and it coincided with the insertion of QB Alex Smith into the starting lineup. Eight of his 11 TDs came with Smith at the helm. Overall, he finished No. 1 with 168 fantasy points, and should remain a top five TE for many years to come.

4. Jason Witten

Witten’s numbers were down last year because he was often forced to block rather than being allowed to receive. He finished with 107 points, but only 2 TDs. The Cowboys offense will be much more dangerous in 2010 and we expect Witten to once again become a dominant force.

5. Brent Celek

Celek was an unheralded fantasy sleeper entering 2009 and delivered big-time. He finished 4th in scoring amongst TEs with 137 points and put up huge numbers in the three games Kolb started. There’s many things to like about Celek in 2010.

6. Tony Gonzalez

Matt Ryan and Tony G. showed glimpses of their potential in 2009 but the lack of a running game affected the entire offense. His 117 points pegged him 5th among fantasy TEs but we expect he could end up in the top 3 by season’s end as the Falcons offense looks like it’ll be stacked.

7. Visanthe Schiancoe

No longer a fantasy sleeper, Schiancoe became a legit No. 1 TE in fantasy with Brett Favre at the helm. He’s Favre’s go-to guy near the goal line and if the 40 year old returns, which seems likely, expect Schiancoe to once again end up a top performer.

8. JerMichael Finley

Finley put his stamp on the map in 2009 (565 yards, 5 TDs) and quickly became a lethal weapon in Aaron Rodgers‘ offense. His end of the season dominance bodes well coming into 2010 and he has the talent to finish in the top 3.

9. Owen Daniels

Daniels was off to a monster start before tearing his ACL vs. the Bills in Week 8. He had 78 fantasy points through seven games and is clearly Matt Schaub’s No. 2 target behind Andre Johnson. Provided his knee is healthy, look for big bounce back.

10. Kellen Winslow Jr.

Winslow finished with 117 fantasy points in his 1st season with the Bucs and became Josh Freeman’s top target by the end of the season. With Antonio Bryant off to Cincy, his role in the offense will be even greater, so look for strong numbers right back.
